Ease of Use

The LCD screen on Brother CS6000i is a guide in itself as you can see all the controls displayed on it. The screen will display an error message if you choose the settings incorrectly. It will also tell you which foot to use, so no guess work is required.

The ease of use is absolutely great. It is very easy to set up and thread the machine. Brother CS6000i comes with an automatic needle threader which doesn’t always work the best, probably one area where Brother has to look into. It comes with a top-loading bobbin which is a great convenience as you don’t have to lift the machine up.

It comes with 60 in-built stitches which gives you a lot of options to experiment. Selecting the stitch is like cutting through cheese, just press the stitch selector button multiple times. The stitch length can be easily adjusted using the button on the right. Brother CS6000i  also has options to adjust the needle position, which comes handy especially when you work on zippers or something like that. Some of the stitches are really cute as well. Where Brother CS6000i scores over its competitors is that it is a great sewing machine for adding details. It does a commendable job in adding cute little details to pockets or anywhere you like.

Brother CS6000i settings are all automated, the sewing machine will tell you what presser foot to use and it is very easy to change. Even though this sewing machine is computerized, it does have a foot pedal and you may use it if you want to. You can adjust the sewing speed with low and high settings.

You will also get quilting accessories along with this sewing machine. It comes with every foot and accessory you could wish for. All accessories can be easily stored in the built-in storage compartment. It also comes with a hardcover to store it away.
