Sewing Machine Reviews Recommendation Level : LOW

Singer 4228 inspiration is a beginners sewing machine. It seems Singer has given more importance to aesthetics than on features and performance. 4228 has 28 built-in stitches, you might see some online shopping sites saying it has just 18 built-in stitches. It is not true, 4228 has 28 built-in stitches and a fully automatic 1-step buttonhole. The machine also features an automatic needle threader to save eye strain. It has an easy to load top drop-in bobbin system. A built-in light is provided for working comfortably in the dark. It has drop feed for free motion sewing. Stitch selection can be done by turning the beautiful dial with a Singer logo on it. Reverse stitching lever is nicely positioned. Stitch length adjustment dial is coupled with the stitch selection dial. A separate knob is provided for adjusting the stitch width. Needle position can be adjusted to left, center and right.
