Michley LSS-338 is a cute little, portable sewing machine. It is designed for very basic stuffs. You can say that it is kind of a toy like machine. Michley claims that it will give perfect stitch control, not quite I guess. This machine is so light that you may lose control over the seam while you sew. You can sew in 2 speeds with this sewing machine. You can use the hand switch or the foot pedal to sew.
Michley LSS-338 has options to adjust the stitch width. Long, medium and short are the available stitch width options. The drop-in bobbin system is an added advantage. There is also a built in work light and a drawer. A reverse stitching lever is also provided. It comes with an ac adapter.
Usability
The overall quality of stitch you get from this machine is not really great, in fact it is not quite up to the standards we were looking for. Michley LSS-338 is a very cheap sewing machine, so you can’t expect magic from this. The thread often gets jammed and you will be spending more time fixing it, if it happens to you. When you look at this sewing machine from the outside, it may look like a good machine for sewing sleeves and basic stuffs. But overall performance is not quite satisfactory.

Even though Michley LSS-338 is one of the cheapest sewing machine you can get, I really can’t recommend this to you. Even if you are thinking of getting this one as a toy for your daughter. It requires adult supervision at all stages. Your daughter will find it easier to use a regular machine than this one I guess.
One good machine I can suggest you is the Brother LS2125i, which has pretty much all the features a beginner wants and it is affordable as well. This machine will give some room for your princess to develop her skills. It is one among the most sold beginners sewing machine models in U.S.
