It has differential feed, which obviously is not a surprise feature. Differential feed ensures consistent stitch quality across different types of fabrics. Moveable upper knife prevents the knife from trimming while sewing.

Singer 14SH764 has a real powerful motor capable of delivering 1,300 stitches/min, which can sew projects pretty fast. You are literally cutting down your sewing time into half with a serger like this. The color-coded, lay-in threading system makes threading effortless. Threading diagram is printed on the machine itself, you don’t need to look elsewhere. The stitch length can be easily adjusted by turning the knob.
