Brother 1034D Vs Singer 14CG754 – Performance Comparison

When you compare the performance and ease of use, I think Brother 1034D is better. The Brother machine is much easier to thread and set up. It is more beginner friendly. Singer 14CG754 on the other hand, is not that easy to thread. Yes, you can thread it in a snap once you get the hang of it, but from the point of view of an out and out beginner, it is slightly difficult. The machine is on the noisy side as well. The Brother machine is much more quiet. The stitch quality is more or less the same on both sergers.

Verdict

I think the confusion is not over yet for you. So I will break it down for you.

Go for Brother 1034D if you want a serger that is easy to use and performs admirably well.

Go for Singer 14CG754 if you consider 2 thread capability is important.

Other than these two things, there isn’t much that separates these two sergers. Even the prices are very similar (now, I don’t know whether the price difference will increase in future or not).
